Tom Frampton

Founder and CEO

Tom Frampton, Founder and CEO, started working in the ceiling fan industry his junior year of high school. His first job with Casablanca ignited a life-long passion for ceiling fan design and engineering. In 1984, Tom branched out on his own with three designs; the Punkah, the Palmetto and the Bourbon Street. Tom’s garage in Pasadena, California served as Fanimation’s first corporate headquarters where he built each new fan with his own two hands. In 1994, Tom relocated the business to Indiana. Tom is a member of the Antique Fan Collectors Association and played an integral part in relocating the Antique Fan Museum from Kansas to Fanimation’s headquarters in Zionsville, Indiana. Tom’s extensive ceiling fan knowledge earned him a guest appearance on American Pickers where he provided expert opinion on the value of an antique fan. When Tom is not in the office, he keeps busy collecting antique fans and traveling the world.
